Łukasz Czubernat
Hello 🤗 My name is Łukasz Czubernat – teacher, enthusiast, and founder of OLD SCHOOL HOUSE in Brzesko.
My journey with the English language began in my teenage years and has continued ever since. What fascinates me is not only the language itself, but also British culture and the way language connects people.
I had the opportunity to participate in five UNESCO language camps, which became one of the greatest inspirations in my life. I spent over 10 years living in England, where I graduated from the University of Portsmouth (Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering) and gained professional experience.
After a year of travelling around the world, I returned to Poland to share my knowledge and passion. Since 2016, I have been developing OLD SCHOOL HOUSE, where we teach English in a practical and modern way – through listening and speaking rather than memorising grammar rules. We work with children, teenagers, and adults, starting from the age of five.
I truly enjoy working with people and watching them grow more confident in English week by week, discovering not only new skills but also a genuine motivation to learn.

Jon Gilmore
Hi! My name is Jon Gilmore, and I am a native English speaker from the United States. I was born and raised in the Midwest and lived in Chicago, where I met my Polish wife. After several visits to Poland, I fell in love with the country, and in 2024 we moved here permanently.
I officially joined the Old School House team in September 2025.
I hold a TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have been teaching English online for four years. I combine my qualifications, teaching experience, and lifelong immersion in an English-speaking environment to help students not only speak correctly but also understand how native speakers truly use English in everyday situations.
I look forward to helping you on your English learning journey!
DAWID KRUPSKI
Hi! My name is Dawid Krupski, and I truly enjoy helping others discover the beauty of the English language.
For me, teaching is not just about lessons and vocabulary - it’s about building confidence, inspiring curiosity, and showing that language can be a bridge connecting people and cultures. I believe learning works best in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where students feel encouraged to speak and grow at their own pace.
Mistakes are never something to fear - they are proof that you are trying and improving. I am passionate about showing that English can be natural, practical, and even fun. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Julia Kuta
Hello! My name is Julia, and I take great joy in helping young learners discover the world of the English language. In my work with children, I place the greatest emphasis on kindness, patience, and creating a sense of safety and trust. I believe that every child learns best when they feel accepted, understood, and encouraged to take on new challenges.
I am an empathetic, supportive, and open-minded person, which is why I strive to create a warm and friendly atmosphere during my lessons—one where children can develop their skills without stress or fear of making mistakes. I treat each student as an individual, recognizing their strengths and supporting them in overcoming difficulties.
The greatest reward for me is watching children grow in confidence, learn through play, and explore the English language with curiosity and enthusiasm. I want my lessons to be a place filled with smiles, positive energy, and inspiration to discover the world.
JAKUB PIASECKI
A graduate of the Pedagogical University of Kraków, with extensive experience in preparing students for the Polish Matura exam, the 8th-grade exam, and language certificates, as well as teaching adults, including Business English.
My approach focuses on adapting lessons to the individual needs and goals of each student. Every learner receives carefully selected materials tailored to their level, along with detailed notes from each lesson, including useful phrases with pronunciation guidance and clearly explained grammar rules.
Online lessons are my preferred teaching format, as they allow me to fully utilise modern tools to make the learning process faster, more engaging, and highly effective - all in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
DAVID GRAHAM
A native British teacher of English, French, and German with over three decades of experience organising international camps in cooperation with UNESCO and the British Council.
He has led the international teaching staff during three OLD SCHOOL HOUSE summer camps in Brzesko (2023, 2024, 2025). A true legend of international education - and a valued friend of our school community.
